THE JAMMERS BAND: THE STORY

A musical journey 60 years in the making.

Thirteen years ago, Alan, Skip, and Bill started jamming in a Virginia coffee house. The jammin' branched out into the local cruize-ins in Louisa county.

Following various holiday and charity gigs with those classic set lists, the Jammers began to focus on folk and pop music "standards" - specifically focusing on 60's rock 'n roll.

Soon after, Tom was added to the group's vocals.  Additionally, Tom brought in his tenor saxophone to add to the mix. The tenor sax shined in out-door and larger venues, adding great fills to the 60 -year old tunes.

The Jammers initially didn't need a drummer, since the band focused on smaller, inside venues. But that changed when Phil added conga drums to the mix.

The Jammers have continued to play both small-space setups as well as larger venues, using minimal gear as their stand-by to perform covers of many different artists.

You may not immediately recognizer the Jammers, but you will recognize their music.
